About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Wooldridge. I am the High School Social Worker at Civic Memorial, and I am SO EXCITED to be apart of this community. I have been working at CMHS since graduating with my Master in Social Work, and I believe the Bethalto community is a great place for me to continue to learn and grow in this profession. I look forward to meeting many of you, and working alongside you and your children as we encourage them to be the best version of themselves they can be!

I'd love to tell you a little about myself as we begin this journey through high school together. I have a younger sister who is so fun, spunky, and keeps me on my toes. Along with my sister, my mom and my dad support and encourage me day in and day out. I grew up around the area, where I attended and graduated from Southwestern High School. I fell in love with with the sport of softball at a young age. The feeling never faded, and I continued to play softball during my college days. I first attended Heartland Community College in Normal, IL. While there I graduated with my Associates in Arts. I was then blessed to be able to transfer to University of Illinois at Springfield to continue following my dream of playing college softball while studying to become a Social Worker. I then graduated with my Bachelor in Social Work. From there, I continued on to get my Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I graduated in 2018, and shortly thereafter I accepted my very first position here at Civic Memorial!

In my free time I love being outdoors! I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and finding new adventures. I also enjoy working out and running. I have a large interest in traveling because it allows me to learn new things, experience new cultures, and get out of my comfort zone. I have recently re-found my interest in reading, so it's not uncommon if I find myself lost in a new book. Although I do not have any children, I have a dog and have a little kitty, and they are my babies. Ember, my dog, was rescued from a shelter in El Paso, Texas. I take her everywhere I can with me, because I love her with my whole heart! Rewtie, my cat, has been a part of my life for a few years now...the two never fail to put a smile on my face.

I am so excited to get to know each of YOU throughout this year and years to come! Please, never hesitate to contact me!
